Site Mowed: Grass was a bit shaggy for our taste.

Overall Comments: Overall Ponca State Park is one of our favorite parks in Nebraska. It is very picturesque and scenic. The observation deck on the road above the swimming pool is breathtaking and you can see three states from its location. A short hike to the old OAK tree is well worth it. They have several special events throughout the summer and we recently attend The Missouri River Outdoor Expo, fantastic experience especially if you have children.
